Our training venue is based in Alrewas on the Staffordshire/Derbyshire border. In 2009 we are pleased to say that we have raised £1,200 for our local charities and hope to build a ‘stress free’ kennel block for our local RSPCA which would be known as the ‘Kymberly Kennel’ as a tribute to a much loved friend.

CAPABLE CANINES provides a wide range of services including puppy play school, obedience classes and agility classes. We offer specialist dog training to dogs of all sizes, breeds, ages and abilities. Our club is based in Alrewas,Staffordshire. we hold our classes in a large indoor venue, which is 100% safe and secure and so makes it an ideal place for you and your dogs to make friends and learn. We could even knock you up a cup of tea!!

CAPABLE CANINES was formed in 2002 and be came KENNEL CLUB LISTED in 2003, we have been invited to Crufts on a number of occasions to participate in the Kennel Club Good Citizen awards with various breeds of dogs that have attended our club.

Jacky Motts, the trainer originally qualified to work with horses, but as her love of dogs grew and people were coming to her for advise and training, CAPABLE CANINES was born! Jacky has eight dogs herself and is an acredited agility judge. Jacky has been involved in the training of dogs for 15yrs competing and judging agility for 13 of those.

During this time Jacky has completed various registered courses in dog training, behavioural and agility. Jacky has also attended the UK Registry of Canine Behaviourists symposium 2007 and 2008.
